George A. Flagg was my GGGrandfather. He had 10 children, including your Henry M. and my ggrandfather, Levi Lincoln Flagg. Flagg is no "dit" name. We are descendants of Thomas Flegg, who came from England in 1636 and founded a large Flagg family. Some Flaggs moved to Canada.

I have quite a bit of the Flagg family documented on Rootsweb WorldConnect http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/, a wonderful free site.

Good luck and happy ancestor hunting!
