Sharon,
I appreciate your prompt reply. My Henry J. Flagge was the third in a line of H. J.'s.
Unfortunately his father and uncle had a disagreement and I'm not sure where his father went to. His father was born in Germany and lived in CT until the disagreement. I do not know if this caused them to move away. I have that he has 6 siblings. It is possible that it is the same one. Especially if the Flagg's are having a hard time fitting him in somewhere.
The original family was catholic and the "e" was dropped when H. J. became protestant.
Do you have any other info on the H.J. besides what you posted?
