Ray C. Flagg,
Brewerton, Dies

Ray C. Flagg, 65, of Brewerton, died unexpectedly Thursday at his winter home in Holly Hill, Fla. Services were held Monday at 2 p. m. at the Sanborn Funeral Home in Camden, with the Rev. Allison C. Wood officiating. Burial was in McConnellsville Cemetery.

A native of Pulaski, he was the son of Alonzo and Grace Colvin Flagg. On Jan. 19, 1915, he married Helen Eckel of Vienna.

He was educated in the Pulaski schools and was a member of the Church of Christ in Brewerton and also a member of the Brewerton Masonic Lodge. He retired in 1959 from his position as tool and die maker with the Mack-Law Tool & Aircraft Corp. in Syracuse.

Mr. Flagg is widely known as an inventor with many innovations being credited to him. Some of his ideas were put into practice in manufacture of defense items during World War II.

Survivors include his wife and mother, Mrs. Grace Flagg, both of Holly Hill; two sisters; Mrs. John Worden of Holly Hill and Mrs. Tony Bontomase of Pulaski; two brothers, Lester of Woodville and Earl Flagg of Startford, Conn.

Brewerton, Jan. 30. - Ray C. Flagg 65, of this village, died unexpectedly Thursday at his home in Holly Hill, Fla.
