Dr Samuel Flagg fought in the Revolutionary War.
In the Battle of Saratoga, under Lt. Col.Joseph Welch N.H. Regiment, 27 Sept to 8 Nov 1777.
And with Col Jacob Gales Regiment, Aug 1778 in Rhode Island. The Regiment marched from the state of N.H.
In both records his title is surgeon. If he was born in 1761 he would have been a 16 year old doctor!!!!
