Thanks for writing back, Bev, because I was concerned about my sources, so I double-checked what I had (I didn't know who "Roger" has for Almira's mother, so I wanted to check myself for errors)
Here's what I have and the sources:
1. Russell Flagg and Mary F Newton were married in Southborough on 5/14/1837; VITAL RECORDS OF SOUTHBOROUGH, MASSACHUSETTS, to the year 1850. WORCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS: PUBLISHED BY FRANKLIN P PRICE,Trustee of the Fund. 1903. (Online database: NewEnglandAncestors.org, New England Historic Genealogical Society, Boston, Mass.) This is an online database, which is currently being reviewed by the Society so as to include page numbers and original images (thus far, not completed for Southborough, yet);
2. Darius Curtis Flagg, son of Russel(l) and Mary, born 4/14/1838 in Southborough; same reference as above(I have no further info on him at this time);
3. Franklin Eugene Flagg, son of Russell and Mary, born 12/23/1840 in Southborough; same refernce as above (additional info below);
4. Almira Patience Mary Newton Flagg, daughter of Russel(l) and Mary, born 10/7/1842 in Southborough; same reference as above (additional info below);
5. Lorenzo E Flagg, son of Russel(l)and Mary Temple, born 1/9/1844 in Southborough; died 5/3/1845, son of Russell and Mary, age 1 yr 4 m, of lung fever; same reference as above;

He died 6/4/1848, thus noted - Edmund R Flagg, age 1 yr, d in Southborough, male, single, b Southborough, s Russell and Mary, of Cholera Infantum; Massachusetts Vital Records, 1841-1910 (From original records held by the Massachusetts Archives), (Online database:NewEnglandAncestors.org, New England Historic and Genealogical Society, Boston, MA), Southborough, Vol 4, Page 322, Line 2;

8. Russell Flagg, resident Southborough, age 40, carpenter, b Southborough, son Elijah and Ruth, as 2nd marriage, married Betsey Ann Walkup, resident Southborough, age 35, (no occupation listed), b Framingham, daughter William and Esther Walkup, her 1st marriage, on 11/2/1848 in Southborough by Alanson Rawson, Minister of Southborough; Massachusetts Vital Records, 1841-1910, Southborough, Vol 38, Page 380, Line 5.
9. On 6/15/1855 Betsey Flagg, age 42y6m18d, died in Southborough, of consumption, female, married, housekeeper, b Framingham, daughter William and Esther Walkup; Massachusetts Vital Records, 1841-1910, Southborough, Vol 95, Page 152, Line 12.

11. Myra Flagg, resident Westboro, age 25, (no occupation listed), b Southborough, daughter Russell and Mary Flagg, as her 1st marriage, married Alymer Place, resident Bolton C.E. As best as I can ascertain, all the children of Russell are also all children of Mary.
Hope this clarifies - let me know who "Roger" has as the mother of Almira; maybe I can piece together another person.
Regards,
Laura Lorenzo
