Hi, Carol, it's me again...

I went to review my information on Frederick Potter Flagg, and this is what I have and the sources:

1. Frederick Potter Flagg, born Waltham 7/16/1794 to Mario A (Flagg), a carriage painter, born Athol (MA) and Annie R Kirwin, born Boston (MA); Massachusetts Vital Records 1841-1910, online database compiled by New England Historic Genealogical Society (www.newenglandancestors.org), original documents held by Massachusetts Archives, Waltham,
Line 324, Volume 440, Page 428.

2. 1900 US Federal Census, Waltham (MA), Ward 4, District 980, Roll T623-667, Page 5A, Lines 8-11:

Floyd Street
Line 8 - Mario A Flagg, Head of household, b Feb 1856, age 44, married 8 yrs, he and his parents all born in MA, a carriage "mfr";
Line 9 - Annie R (Flagg), wife, b Feb 1866, age 34, married 8 years, 2 children born, 2 children living, she and her parents all born in MA, no occupation;
Line 10 - Frederic (no k) P (Flagg), son, b July 1893, age 6 (should be 1894, making him 6 yrs in 1900), he and his parents all born in MA;
Line 11 - George A (Flagg), son, b Feb 1897, age 3, he and his parents all born in MA.

Interestingly, in the 1900 Census, living next door (Lines 6 and 7) is your William H Flagg and Emily C Flagg:

Line 6 - William H Flagg, Head of household, b July 1829, age 70, married 45 years, he and his parents all born in MA, a "Capitalist";
Line 7 - Emily C (Flagg), wife, b Jun 1832, married 45 years, 0 children born, 0 children living, she born in VT, her parents born in MA, no occupation.

I have attempted to look at William H's death record in the Massachusetts Vital Records 1841-1910, but the only record listed in Waltham for William H Flagg, d in 1901 (Vol 517, Page 803) is not available for viewing online yet. These records ususally list both parents, in addition to cause of death. I can let you know when this record is available online, if you like.

Finally, in your other note posted about George A Flagg, I will record further info there to keep continuous the forum line.

I hope this info is helpful in tracking down all these Flaggs!!

Regards,

Laura Lorenzo
