Could this David May be the son of Andrew May who died in Hamilton Co., Ohio? I have been doing a little research on John Sweem (b. abt 1790) m. Elizabeth May. I have also been wondering if Amanda Sweem m. to Isaac Flagg is John's daughter.

I ran across this online:
Isaac Flagg, b. 31 July 1810, N.J.; d. May 1869, Sangamon Co., Ill.
Amanda Sweem, b. Dec. 1814, Ohio; d. Nov. 1869, Sangamon Co., Ill.
