Ann, Julius Evans wife's name is Catherine Elizabeth Renew born 1845 in Gadsden County, Fl. Her mother was Sarah Ann Brown of Dooly Co., Ga., and her father was John Peter Renew of Sumter Co., Ga. The Renew's were in Charleston, SC in the early 1800's and were French Royalists. There is a family cemetary on their home place in Ga. The Brown's are supposed to be American Indian, or so I was told by some of their decendants. Sarah Brown and John Renew married in 1844 in Pulaski Co., Ga.

George Washington Hightower's wife was Florida Ann Holley, daughter of William Holley, Jr. and Mary. William was Al. state represenative for two years shortly before moving to Fl. Florida Ann was born in Fl. in 1860.
