I am trying to find more info on my GGrandfather,Henry Lewis. He died in 1901 and is buried in Taylor Co.I don't believe he was buried in a cemetary though. My Aunt says she can remember going to some woods with her daddy(Henry's son)in search of his grave. She also said she doesn't believe there was a headstone.Henry was married to Nice Jane Napper and they had at least two sons-Daniel Lee and J.Benjamin.Henry died a fairly young man,son Daniel was approx. 9 yrs old,So alot of history has been lost.As you can see, this has become very difficult.Does anyone have any knowledge of this family or suggestions as to where to look next.Any help would certainly be appreciated. Also,The last time I visited Perry, which was recent,it is a very small remote kind of place I can only imagine what it was like when my GGrandfather passed in 1901,so,would having a family member buried in this manner be common?
