Thanks. I greatly appreciate your response. It was my thought also that it was near Shady Grove. The pension file was for a Sheffield. His last address in the pension file, as well as his widow's, was in Shady Grove. Many of his descendants still live in and around Shady Grove today.
I have found some of his land on file at the FL site. Thanks for telling me how to map it out. That will be a great help since I do not live in that area. Again, thanks and take care.
