Tim,
You've really got me going!
C.L. "Buster" Borklund was a very prolific photographer, both still and movies. Many of his pictures are in your referenced publications. He died a couple of years ago but his widow, Marian, is still in Perry and might be a good resource for you.
Incidentally, Wilbur Hitchcock mother was my dad's sister. My Dad was Beau and was a machinest in the railroad shop with Mr. Reddick. My mother's father, Henry McCray, was a RR engineer. Her sister, Estelle, married Neal "Slim" Shinholser who was also an engineer. There are many
Shinholsers in Taylor County.
I lived in Carbur, Foley, Camp Hampton, and Dixie Camp. The latter 2 were logging camps.
My grandfather, Sylvan Hebert, moved his family to Carbur in 1913. He was a saw foreman.
