The Adamsville Cemetery is a small but crowded cemetery located north of Coleman Fl. It is now managed by the City of Coleman, It has been used for over 100 years and it is still in use today. There is quite a bit of damage to headstones and footstones of the older graves and it looks as if there has been some recent damage..... within the last couple of months since I was out there. It is located on both sides of a Baptist church and has a small above gound Crypt vault holding about 20 persons. This is what I found: Mary A Currie Sept 27, 1879 Jul 14, 1888 Located to the left of this is: Currie Daniel W. Mollie A. Dec 17, 1846 Jan 22, 1864 Jan 6, 1929 Jul 15, 1912 (footstone DWC) (footstone MAC) to the left of them is an unmarked grave. In another area I found the following: Currie Donald E. Nilla R US NAVY S1C Rowe May 8, 1926 May 2, 1933 and in another area: John H Currie May 18, 1921 July 9, 1974 There is a funeral home metal plaque which states Page-Theus which might be the name of the funeral home.
