William was born in Coweta Co., GA in 1925, and he died in Miami, Dade Co., FL in 1968, and he was buried in the Miami Memorial Park Cemetery. He was an Attorney At Law. Family legend has it that William was mixed up in some type of stolen coin collection deal. He was going to turn state evidence and the family believes that this fact got him murdered. William's mother was Eddie Lou Farmer Quick. It's believed that she was married several times (Unknown Bryan and an Indian boxer that went by the name of Chief Crazy Horse). It's unknown at this time if she had children by these other husbands. William's father was David Quick, I think. I've been trying to research and document this elusive line of my Farmer family for some time now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. You may leave a reply here, or contact me at [{{{azlilowl@vtc.net}}}] which ever you prefer. If anyone has access to any newpaper articles about this coin case, photos, obits, cemetery sign & gravestone photos, or anything at all pertaining to William Quick and his family, would you please share them with me? I received his death certificate today, but of course, since he has not been deceased 50 yrs. or more, most of the certificate was blanked out. William's sister, Mrs. Vivian Rockerman was the informant. Vivian's twin sister Lillian Quick died back in 1939 in Troup Co., GA. Thanks in advance, TJ Notify Administrator about this message?
