There are about 3 entries for Americus V. on Rootsweb's WorldConnect site, and all of them say his parents were Benjamin (b. 1798-d. 1868 Kenton Co., KY) and Susan Muirhead. They were married 4 Jan 1823 in Campbell Co., KY.

Parents of this Benjamin were Benjamin (b. 1750 Wales) and Mildred Timberlake (b. 1753).
