Yes Frank - I too dread the all-too-common "I already have that" response.

Sheila you were quite gracious in noting T. Kerwin's efforts. You thanked him, and "wasting his effort" was inadvertent I am sure.

Would you mind posting transcriptions of any/all records you have for the family? My head swims as I read your narrative.

An example:

Census Year
Place
Each Person, age, place of birth, other info

It's helpful to leave out the extraneous stuff and odd arrangement of data that happens when a volunteer copies and pastes a record exactly as found in an online search. That's fine for the volunteer, I'm just asking that you yourself "clean up" the transcriptions.
