it also listed his wife and son

His death from Georgia, Death Index, 1933-1998," index, FamilySearch ( : accessed 07 Aug 2012), R I Elliott, 1936.

Name:R I Elliott
Event Date: 15 Feb 1936

(the remainder of information was left blank)

Stories from my father state his dad was parlyzed from a gunshot wound and possibly died from lead poisoning from the wound. According to my dad he was working in moonshine and was mistaken for some revenuers. This happened in Florida.

My dad also stated he had a "falling out" with his family and had left home. My dad thought he and a brother had some type of disagreement. Apparently afterward he had wandered the entire United States for some time before arriving in Georgia after being injured in Florida. My dad stated his father had mentioned family in the following places: Savannah,Ga., Alabama, and North Carolina.
