How were you able to find so much info? I have been trying to piece info together on Ancestry.com with very little luck. But let me tell you the complete story. My father was S.S. Jennings and Betty or Bessie (full name Elizabeth Jeanette) was his 3rd wife. Her daughter, Margaret Elizabeth Riddell was my father's step daughter and would be my step sister. I am trying to find out what happened to both Betty and Margaret, hoping Margaret is still alive since she would be about 84 now. She would have been about 5 when Betty and Sam were married in Florida. She used his name as her maiden name until the marriage broke up. I'm not quite sure when Betty and Sam broke up. They had no official divorce since when they married, they were still legally married to other spouses. But they married in 1934 and in 1945 Sam married his 4th wife. Betty did seek an official divorce from her husband, George William Riddell in 1936. For Margaret I did find the Marriage to Robie Hood in 1948 in Florida and the divorce in 1951 in Russell County, Al. Then I found a marriage of Margaret E. Hood to Theodore H. Miller 22 Aug 1953 in Montgomery county, Al. and there I have lost the trail.Of course I can't be positive this is my Margaret E. Hood. That's why I've been trying to get a copy of the License applications for marriage which is much more meaningful than the marriage certificate. It would also be helpful if I could track down any children she may have had. And for Betty it looks like she married again in Dec 1956 to an Arnold Miller in Escaambia County, Fl and divorced in Dec 1959 in Winston County, Al. And then that trail goes cold. So you see my dilemma. I know what happened to all my Dad's 6 wives except Betty. Can you help on any of this?
