No, this has to do with Charles Porter of New York who took a gang of shipwrights from New York to Florida to build the ship Citizen in early 1822. They built the ship and when finished shipped a cargo of live oak and other timber back to New York. Porter was a merchant and trader in New York with his brother William Porter and also had a ship repair and salvage business.
