I work with Hazel Garnett "H.G." Fisher's son in Wellborn, FL.He won a purple heart in WWII and survived on the front lines in the Normandy Beach Invasion for 30+ days, the only man from his company to live, after suffering a close-range mortar explosion which shattered his leg and left him with a permanent limp, and half-blind, half-impaired vision from shrapnel. His vision was restored to 20-20 at the age of 80 from V.A. cateract and lasik surgery. He moved to Wellborn in 1959 and lived their and New Symrna Beach the remainer of his life.If you need any info please contact me through email.
SIncerely, Kenneth
