PENNVILLE - Frances L. Gignac, 88, passed away Friday, October 30, 2009 at her home in Pennville, IN.
She was born on April 27, 1921, in Danville, Illinois to Hazel (Russell) Walker and Matthew Boles.
She married James Gignac on August 12, 1949. They resided in Indianapolis, until her retirement from Krogers. They then moved to Florida where they resided until the death of James in 2007. Frances then moved to Pennville to live with daughter Joyce.
She is survived by daughter Joyce (Wendell) Glass, Pennville; three grandchildren, Candi Clawson, Pennville, Tim (Terri) Hunt, Hartford City, and Mike (Pam) Hunt, Portland; three brothers; two sisters; seven great grandchildren; and ten great-great grandchildren; and a special friend, Sam.
She is preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, James Gignac; parents, Hazel Walker and Matthew Boles; and her brother, Russell Walker.
