yes, gordon and henry g, are the same person, he is my uncle.
i am aware that robert raymond and martha ( mattie ) are buried in hart cemetery, several of my aunts and uncles are buried there, as well as my parents, i was curious as to when the countys changed names, as i am sure that you know smith is a very hard name to trace, i have little to go on except things that i can remember as a child growing up in that area, a place called ( yankee town ) not far from where my grandparents lived, the bridge that you had to cross going to my grandparents house ( don't remember name ) one of my uncles drowned there ( John Luke he was married to Rena Smith Maddox Phelps) he is buried in avon park, fla. there was a swamp area that was behind my grandparents house ( i am not sure but i think it was arbuckle creek ) .
