BRAY, Cecil A.

Cecil A. Bray, 78, died Monday, (July 16, 2001) at home in Bucksport, ME, after a long battle with cancer. Cecil was born on April 7, 1923, in Orland, ME, the son of Joseph and Wilma (Snowman) Bray. He lived in Connecticut for many years, returning to Maine in 1968. He was a World War II Army Veteran. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a life member of the NRA. Cecil is survived by his wife, Norma of Bucksport, ME; his sons and daughters-in-law, William and Cecelia of Union, Garrett and Suzanne of Carmel, ME, John and Linda of North Berwick, ME; his daughters and sons-in-law, Laurel and David Ingraham of Bangor, ME, Barbara and Paul Simoneau of Lyman, ME; and several grandchildren; his sisters, Frances Bray and Cleo Noonan of Orland, ME and Barbara Klein and Richard of Farmington, NH. Cecil was predeceased by his first wife, Marjorie, and his grandson, Joseph. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 21, at the Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 14 Elm St., Bucksport, ME. Memorial contributions may be made to: Hospice of Hancock County, P.0.
