Thank you for your response. It helps. Are you from her family? If so, please allow me to call you "Step-cousin." I have a batch of material on Oliver K Porterfield from before c1924; he was my grandfather, by his 1st marriage, and disappeared about 1924 after the divorce. I recently began the real search for whatever happened to him, but got hung up with the 2nd marriage. Not being able to get a good line on his 2nd wife, I figured the best thing would be to try his step-daughter Maymie (poss. alt. sp.). As a result, while learning a bit more about FL records, I got side-tracked to Oliver's death in Fulton, GA. My response to that was "Oh, now what?" and figured there might be a way via Mamie to figure it out. What you sent suggests that Oliver's 2nd wife was Mary L Willis and her daughter Mamie was recently married and living with them for one reason or another. It also suggests that Oliver was not particularly good marriage material. Thank you again. --David Wilcox Notify Administrator about this message?
