Palatka Pointers.
Palatka, Fla., January 3. – Yesterday most of the business houses
closed in the afternoon.
The yacht Chere Amie was anchored in front of the city in the St.
Johns river, last night, and was beautifully illuminated with electricity.
The owner engaged a local string band, and there was music until a late
hour.
Many huntsmen are bringing in game.
The young orange trees in Putnam put on a fine growth last year.
