My grandmother was born Ruby Blanch Callahan to Paul Brock Callahan and wife, Carrie. She had a brother, Hershel Callahan, who fathered a son in the 40's by the name of David Hershel Callahan. It's my understanding that David's parent divorced when he was young and the mother remarried. It is my understanding that the new husband who was a Funderburke may have adopted David. David's birth father, Hershel Callahan, was killed in an accident with his second wife. My grandmother was hoping to locate her nephew the only child of her brother Hershel. David's last known whereabouts was in the State of Florida. Just for informational purposes my grandmother has a brother named Paul "Buddy" Callahan who is still living, a brother Alfred who has passed and two sisters who have also passed whose names were Stella and Margaret. Any info you can provide would be appreciated.
