ALICE JO-ANNE WHITWORTH Alice Jo-Anne Whitworth, 72, of Panama City, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003, in a local nursing facility. She was a retired bookkeeper and had been a resident of Panama City for 10 years. She was preceded in death by two sons, Travis Lamb and James Carroll Jr., and a brother, Bill Reese. She is survived by a daughter, Libby Smeby; six sisters and brothers-in-law, Gussie and J.V. Parker, Pat and Roy Oslager, Dorothy Pipkin, Frances and Alvin Davis, Ina and Harry Orsburn, Judy and Sigurd Smeby; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Rudy and Anne Reese, Roy and Janet Reese; seven grandchildren, Roy Maxey Jr., Tonya Carroll, Rhonda Moore, Richard Maxey, Sarelia Snitchler, Michele Carroll and Jason Carroll; 13 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.
