Frank, While I do not like to post information about the living for privacy reasons, I have to take issue with your response. Did you think that your hostile remarks would serve to improve the situation? Take a cue from your own posting and try the direct, or should I say discreet and considerate approach. And to look at the bigger picture.....have you sent an email to Ancestry.com who provides this information detailing your disgust with THEM? I thought not, as you would like to have the freedom to look up the people of your choosing. The information is out there and by a 14 day trial, subscription or posting to forums she would be able to find it. She chose to take the easy/cheap route and someone was kind enough to send her the information. Knowing Lisa, a simple email, without being harsh or critical explaining your position on the matter would have been welcome. Why not take it a step further and chastise the poster? Better yet, give her a directive about posting for information regarding the living. Since we are volunteering to assist, let's be as kind as we can to everyone.
