I found a few issues of the Key West newspaper on Godfrey.org. You must subscribe to this web site but it is only $35.00 per yr.
They have a host of old newspapers which can be scanned by name.
The name of Peacon is all through the Key West paper and they seemed to be well entrenched in the social community of Key West. A George Peacon worked for Railway Express connecting Key West and Miami.
