Hi - Here's some info, combined from the 1983 Florida Death Index and the Social Security Death Index. Check it CAREFULLY.

Harry W. Stobaugh (white)
Born 01 January 1907
Died 04/17/1983 in HIGHLANDS COUNTY, FLORIDA (not BROWARD!!)
Death Certificate 36314
Last Residence: Sunrise (BROWARD COUNTY), FL
SSN 328-05-1310, issued in IL before 1951

I suggest that you get a copy of the Death Certificate ($5) from the Florida Department of Health and examine it. It should tell the disposition of Mr. Stobaugh.
