NORA D. POWELL, 85, of Tampa died Thursday at the Carrollwood Care Center. A native of Spotsylvania County, Va., she had lived in the Tampa Bay area since 1942, coming from Fredricksburg, Va. She was a homemaker and a Protestant. She is survived by one son, Lyle B. Martin of Tampa; one daughter, Ella V. Walling of Tampa; one brother, A. Ellis Durrett of Fredricksburg, Va.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Curry & Son Funeral Home
