Hello,
My apologies, I know better than to do that. No dates? bad form.
He shows up in a census in Newton Co., MS at age 60, in 1880 census. Birth year c. 1820. His birthplace Florida, Father's birthplace Florida and mother's birthplace Georgia. That is all I have found on him before that except for an 1860 census Newton Co., MS, lookup done for me. He is showing married to a Louisa and he shows 5 children. One of his daughters Nancy Ann, shows to be my father's grandmother on his mother's side.
Thank you
Sandy
