Samuel Swann or Swan census or birth look-up?

Looking for information on Samuel Swan or Swann. Spelling found both ways. Information found so far says he may be my gggrandfather. One document lists Florida as his birthplace and he moved to Alabama and married there. Then moved to Mississippi. Any and all information greatly appreciated.
