Cannot find anything on Thomas J. Childers but here is what I found on his son:
Name: James Franklin Childers
Volume: 2483
Certificate: 30859
Place: Dade
Race: W
Gender: M
Death Date: Jul 1963
Appears he moved to Miami and died in 1963. You can spend $5 to get his death record from FL and then get the obituary.
This will lead you to the remainder of the family for the obituary will mention the surviving family.
The newspaper, Miami Herald, is on microfilm at the Miami/Dade Public Library in Miami.
