Walter S. Sherman sure moved around a lot. The census says he was born in 1822 but the Ancestry says 1819.
I know a man in FL who can search the index to the Jacksonville, FL newspapers and he might find the date of death for Walter. The newspapers are indexed so he should not have too much of a problem.
