You can get his death record by sending $5 to the Florida State Vital Statistics, P O Box 210, Jacksonville, FL 32231.
There is a young man who lives near the U of Florida who can copy the obituary for a small fee. The obituary should be in the Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel.
I checked the Archives for the Sun Sentinel on the internet and his name does not appear in the search, therefore, I would assume his family chose not to put in an obituary for they are rather pricey.
At least you can get the death record.
You can find the Broward County Courthouse by searching the net and look in the court records to see if he might have had an estate or something mentioned about his tenure in Broward County.
