Seeking any information on Charles A. Smith born Sep 1895 (per 1900 DeKalb Co Al census). I believe Charles died before 03 Apr 1966 as he was not named as a surviving brother in his sister Mary's obituary...
His mother's obituary in the Gadsden Times (Alabama) 16 Sep 1942 named him as "surviving son C.A. Smith of Ocala, Fla".
He was the son of my GG-Uncle William Washington Smith & Mary Edward Parilee [Morgan] who married 04 Jul 1882 in Polk Co Ga. They are buried in the Cedar Bluff Cemetery, Cedar Bluff, Cherokee Co, Alabama.
