That's the problem. We have found this individual also but can't find him listed with a daughter named Willie Mae. We know quite a bit about Willie Mae but we have had problems finding records for Frank.

Family stories state that Col. Francis Harris (Frank's father) came to central Florida to fight in the Seminole Wars. During one of the uprisings he sent his family to Georgia for safety before he reported to his unit. He settled in Yalaha along the shores of Lake Harris which was named for him. Frank fought in the Civil War and was injured in Atlanta on the same day his daughter was born.
