Cemetery Destruction

Last night as I was driving along I-10 I was appalled at what I thought I saw. It was hard determining what was happening going 70 mph about 6 pm but it looked like the area near the Grenville exit (221?) between the service station and I-10 has been cleared, leveled to some extent and destroyed. It is my understanding this is where the Jeffcoat Cemetery (or Bembry Cemetery or some other unknown name) was located. Does anyone know what is happening? It is also my understanding this would be against Florida law to destroy a cemetery, if in fact it has been. I'm very concerned about this since I'm not fully convinced that my grandfather and his brother aren't still bured there. What is in the other cemetery appears to be more of a memorial rather than a headstone for them. Years ago I met a woman who said they were buried there and moved when their father died but I have no proof of this. Any information would be appreciated so I can start contacting people at the state levil if what I think I saw is correct. Thanks. Leslie
