I am a graduate student at the University of Missouri and have access to virtually all microfilms of newspapers from the state of Missouri. I would be more than happy to look up any obituary for some information on a Marsh family from Vero Beach that married into my Evans family two different places.
I'm looking for a Mr. Marsh (first name unknown) who married Cynthia Evans b. 1869, from Lee County, Mississippi. Mr. Marsh was from Vero Beach. They had a son named Hugh who lived in Muskogee, Oklahoma and Hugh's son Lee Moffett Marsh apparently came back to Florida and died in Sarasota.
Cynthia Evans Marsh married a Mr. Mayfield after her divorce or Mr. Marsh's death. Their daughter Elizabeth Mayfield lived in Vero Beach. She was married, but I don't know to whom and I don't know if she had children. There should be cemetery listings for Cynthia at the least there. I think she is buried in Vero Beach.
Mr. William Asa Marsh was born April 10, 1881, in Vero Beach Florida. He married Cynthia's first cousin (who was very close to her) Gillie Evans. They lived in Lee County, near Tupelo, Mississippi.
