Searching for Joe C. Adams Ancestors

I am searching for information on the following:
My grandfather was Joe C. (possibly Caffers) Adams, b. 3/13/1887 in Geneva County, AL and died 8/16/72 in Esto, FL. He married Mae Bell Shiver and they had 11 children: Henry Braxton, Calvin Lee, Ouida Mae, Hazel Edna, Alvin Carlos, Rober (R.B.), Ralph Edward, Quinn Elceb, Minnie Winford, Emily Jewel (Dorothy), and Mary Alice, all born in and around Geneva County, AL, with most now living in Holmes County.

My mother was Quinn E. Adams, who married Benjamin Marion Tew August 7, 1950 in Bonifay, FL.

Papa (Joe) was the son of Henry J. Adams who married Sally Martin. Papa's brothers and sisters were:
Minnie, Sarah, Mollie, Jimmy, Robert, and Bennie

Mae Bell Shiver's parents were Fred(?) Brack (Braxton?) Shiver and Emily Jewel Ward. Her siblings were: Etheyl Faye, Leola, Crawford, Fred Braxton, Rubin Edward, Carl, and Kazie.

I have no info as far as dates or locations, although I have been led to believe Henry J. Adams may have come from Georgia.

I would appreciate any assistance and will gladly share any information I have.

I can be contacted @ or

Thank you,

Joey Tew
