Need info on descendants of Indians, re: Broxton cemetery

Does anyone know descendants of Indians (may have been intermarried) living in Holmes County? Please read the following:

In October 2007, while visiting my g-grandparents graves at Broxton cemetery, "Uncle" Albert Burgess, now deceased, told me: "See those rocks over there. They mark Indian burials. I remember when I was a boy (c. 1920-25) there used to be 4 cedar posts at each corner. They were connected with something and something was over the graves with feathers hanging down. Sometimes the Indians would put something, I don't remember what, on the graves."

Does this story ring a bell with anyone? I am attempting to get this little cemetery registered with the state of Florida so it can be preserved as a historical site because it is the oldest cemetery in Holmes County, has Civil War veterans, early settlers, slaves and possibly Indian burials. The forms require the name of the tribe. I need help from anyone out there in cyberspace. Thanks!
