Very interesting, well then that explains what the 'R' stood for. Wonder if she was Ruth June or June Ruth. Always confusing when some people go by their middle names. I don't know what her maiden name was, so can't check for her on the Calif. birth index at VitalSearch.com but maybe down the road that will be a possiblity. Also, since my cousin was so young when he died, it's highly likely that June has since remarried. That always makes it even harder to track someone down!
Thanks again, every little tidbit helps. I'll get my list compiled & posted tonight, for your your trip to the library tomorrow. I really appreciate all your help. Being in Washington state makes searching Florida records most difficult for me & you have been a real jewel! Thanks also for the information on the Florida counties in your other posting.
