Bryant R. Welch 1829-1864

I am looking for the gravesite of my great-great-grandfather Bryant Richard Welch (abt 1829 - 30 Jul 1864).
Bryant and his wife Lydia (Altman) Welch moved to Hamilton County sometime between November 1862 and February 1863 where Bryant enlisted in the Company E, 9th Florida Infantry Regiment in Lake City on 21 February 1863 (Bryant previously lived in Thomasville, Thomas County, Georgia as a farmer where he served in the 59th Georgia Infantry Regiment, Company A, and returned home to Georgia on sick furlough in November 1862). Bryant was wounded in the thigh by a bombshell in early June 1864 at the battle of Cold Harbor in Gaines Mill, Virginia. He returned home alive on June 10th, but then died of his wounds on 30 July 1864. I am looking for clues as to where he might be buried. To locate and photogragh his tombstone, gravesite & cemetery would be considered a Welch family treasure. His wife Lydia eventually moved down to Polk County, Florida with some of their children, but I do not know when they moved. The family may have lived in Hamilton County only a few years, which would account for the lack of records, or they may have lived there a few decades but their records havenít been cataloged and put online just yet. Either way, Iím hoping that you may have some information on unpublished Civil War gravesites or some old, uncataloged/unmanaged cemeteries that would be a good place for me to start looking.
