Robinsons & Barbers in Civil War
Posted by: Don Allen Date: October 13, 2000 at 13:37:37

I'm researching what units that my ancestors from Gadsden Co served in during the civil war. It appears to me that my ggg grandfather's sons Andrew Jackson Barber (my gg grandfather) and Christopher Columbus Barber and (cousin/nephew?) Morgan B Barber all served in the 5th Cav Co "E". Two of Williams grandsons John and William M Barber (brothers) servied in 2nd Cav Co "D". Three of my gg grandmother Amarntha Robinson Barber's brothers Ferdinand, Jeremiah and Charles Robinson appear to have served in 2nd Cav Co "D".
Am I on the right tract here?
