I can now confirm that his name was Jack C. Nichols, son of Andrew Nichols, b. about 1880 in Florida. He had a brother named George, and three sisters: Nettie, Maggie and May. In 1920 he worked as an Oiler at the Navy Yard, and in 1930 was reportedly a policeman in Pensacola. Before 1920 he married Estella. I do not think he had any children, but may be incorrect about this. I would like to contact anyone who is related to or knew him, even if distantly. Thanks.
