John, I connect to the Herndon family thru Sarah Jane's sister Elizabeth- my GG grandmother making Sarah Jane my GGG aunt. I have followed your postings and have noted a few differences which I hope you can clear up for me.
1. I do not show a son born to William Zopher and Amelia Herndon named James L., and if in fact he was, Amelia would have been 56 years old when he was born. Do you know how he became listed as a child?

2. There is a Harrison Herndon showing in 1880 Columbia County census, 45 yrs. old with wife Martha 35 and son Marion 8 yrs. old. Do you have any idea who this might be?

3. You show a daughter Martha b. 1844 which I do not have...but I have a Mary A. b. abt 1842 which you do not show. I found Mary A. listed w/ family on 1860 New River census. Do you think they are the same person?

3. You show Sarah Jane's death as August 6 and I have August 9. I got this date from listing of Joshua Creek cemetery in the South Florida Pioneers-Issue # 21/22. Do you know where your date is from and could mine be a typo error?

Thanks for any help clearing these minor points. Gary
