Found a clue for you, don't know if it is the right one but makes sense.

Taylor County, GA

ORDINARY COURT SEPTEMBER TERM 1867
Present Joseph J. Huff, Ordinary

Petition of Amanda LITTLE, shows that J.C. LITTLE, late of said county, died
intestate leaving considerable Estate. Shows she is the Widow and requests
Letters of Administration. 12 Aug 1867. Granted.
