Hi Florence:

I'll have to check my source again because either I neglected to write in a parent from the marriage record when I got it (sourced as familysearch.org) or I didn't put it in until I could verify which specific Ogletree family she belonged to since the father was only shown with his first initials.

In any case, I've pasted in below what I have on William Moscow Scarborough and Emma Ogletree. I'll have to go back to see if I can find a death record for Emma. But even death certificates can have information that is not entirely correct. The information is only as good as the person giving it (whether they're a close relation and intimately KNOW their history or a neighbor or etc). I am also curious to find info on the daughter listed below, Texas Scarborough. I only have her so far.

Unfortunately, none of this yet goes to the point of my original query, which is: the two (2) Washington Scarboroughs of 1870 and 1880.
