Dear Ingrid

You have not listed any dates suggesting when your ancestors lived in Hollywood, Florida. If you wish to "Ask a Librarian", I will give you the web site:
http://www.rootsweb.com/~flbrowar/howto.html

A Librarian could check the online newspapers, since 1985 since when the two newspapers have been digitized. This might turn up names on obituary notices. The above HowTo web site will tell you how to send for death certificates, if you have sufficient information.

US Censuses are available for 1900, 1920, 1930. Except for the Broward County Library (in this area), one must pay a subscription fee to search the censuses. 1880 US Census is free online: www.familysearch.org

Hope this is a bit of help.

Rls
