Mary, Sorry about the delay, weekend even busier than I thought. Went to the Huston Cemetery yesterday afternoon, not much info there sorry to say. There is a memorial plaque that states "In memory of John Carroll Houston, first settler of Eau Gallie l859, lst grave l865" I counted what remains of l7 stones, only one has name & dates. Our Darling Baby, Maud Bertha Young Jan 20 l902 July 9 l904. In front of that is a smaller stone with M.B.Y. on it. Another small stone with S.L.H. on it Another small stone with M.H.R. on it Another small stone with E.L.P. on it Another small stone with M.B.B. on it Another small stone with M.H. on it. most of the rest of the stones appear to be the base with the top part broken off & gone and two small vertical slabs stuck in cement that looks like a repair to indicate location of two graves but no markings. I checked the Melbourne Library, only listing they have is for Melbourne Cemetery and the Eau Gallie Cemetery but none of the small cemeteries in the area. Mot much help, do have some Houston-Young info in our Church History though.
